Digital Experience & Optimisation Executive (up to £31,000)

About the role

As aDigital Experience & Optimisation Executiveyou will be a versatile all-rounder with a passion for websites, CRO and UX. You will partner closely with the Digital Experience & Data Strategy Lead to execute tests, audits and updates that drive improvements across our web and digital channels. Ideal candidates will have a minimum 1 year hands-on experience, strong analytical instincts and a solid grounding in UX principles and frontend basics.

As a Digital Experience & Optimisation Executive you will;

  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) to audit and monitor user flows, heatmaps and key engagement metrics; identifying CRO opportunities
  • Apply usability and accessibility best practices to evaluate digital ; surface pain points and propose enhancements.
  • Create basic wireframes (e.g. in Figma) to illustrate proposed UX changes and test variations predominantly for web.
  • Build, launch and track experiments in Optimizely, following a structured testing process from hypothesis to analysis.
  • Basic front-end coding (HTML, CSS, Javascript) knowledge is required here.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders; work cross functionally with Content, Marketing, Data and Development teams.
  • Provide additional marketing support to the central marketing team where required.

Requirements

  • 1 year in digital marketing, UX, web development or related roles.
  • Hands on experience with WordPress or similar CMS. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Hotjar or similar.
  • Practical experience with Optimizely or other web and/or email experimentation platforms.
  • Good understanding of UX principles, wireframing tools and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript at a basic level.
  • Strong attention to data and detail; able to derive insights and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative attitude, proactive approach and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
