PPC & Paid Social Marketing Executive (up to £29,000)

About the role

As a PPC & Paid Social Marketing Executive you will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of our PPC advertising campaigns, specifically aimed at attracting event attending audiences. You’ll work closely with our marketing and data teams to drive measurable results across performance and brand KPIs. The PPC & Paid Social Marketing Executive will report into the Head of Digital, working closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Executive, and is pivotal to the continued development of acquisition revenue streams for Immediate Live. Additionally, you will support the Senior Digital Marketing Executive in the execution of paid social media campaigns. 

 

As a PPC & Paid Social Marketing Executive you will; 

  • Plan, execute, and optimise PPC campaigns across Google Ads. 
  • Develop PPC plans that align with the Paid Digital strategy and business goals across the event portfolio including a range of KPIs including awareness, traffic, lead generation, and conversion. 
  • Manage pacing, bidding strategies, and daily campaign performance. 
  • Build and test ad copy in collaboration with the brand marketing teams. 
  • Analyse campaign results and deliver actionable insights and reporting. 
  • Create campaign performance dashboards using Google Data Studio. 
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends. 
  • Collaborate with central and brand marketing teams to ensure cohesive campaign integration across channels. 
  • Conduct A/B testing plans to improve creative and audience performance. 
  • Work with analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Google Ads Manager) to track key campaign KPIs. 
  • Take ownership of campaign spends, optimising daily, weekly and monthly to improve ROI and find ways to consistently increase our performance. 
  • Support the Senior Digital Marketing Executive in the build and analysis of paid Meta campaigns and provide additional marketing support to the event teams where required. 

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience managing PPC campaigns
  • Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads Manager and GA4
  • Good understanding of targeting strategies, KPI tracking
  • Data-savvy and comfortable building reports
  • Some experience managing campaign spends and reporting on performance metrics like CPM, CPC, CPV
  • Proactive mindset with a love for testing, learning, and iterating
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong copywriting or creative direction skills would be a bonus
