BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine’s acclaimed 2-for-1 Gardens entry card & guide returns this year with 2 for 1 entry at 382 beautiful gardens in the UK and Ireland, including 69 National Trust gardens, 26 National Trust for Scotland gardens and 12 English Heritage gardens.

The May issue, on sale 10th April contains your pass to some of the UK’s most-loved gardens, which offer a visual feast and affordable days out throughout the year. This includes: Leeds Castle (save £35), Haddon Hall (save £28), Shakespeare’s family homes (3 properties ticket save £27), Great Dixter (save £17) Knepp’s Rewilded Walled Garden (£30) and Hever Castle (save up to £27.40).

The pass is valid until 2 April 2026, with savings on a single garden visit of up to £35. Visitors can save money on what can be expensive days out and experience the beautiful outdoors this year. Meanwhile the May value pack also includes two free packets of seeds for those who want to transform their own gardens.

In an innovation this year, visitors can download a new 2 for 1 Gardens app to make finding gardens quick and easy. You can search by county and filter by facilities, so you can find ideal gardens to visit. You can also search by dog-friendliness, accessibility level, and whether they offer our single visitor discount.  The app is free for anyone to download but the digital card can only be purchased using the unique activation code in the 2 for 1 Gardens guide.

The beautiful and varied gardens around the UK are the ideal places to visit and meet with friends and family. With over 380 gardens to visit there’s something for everyone, and the team are urging the country to experience the joy of the UK’s beautiful gardens this year. This year, 137 gardens also offer discounted entry for solo visitors. The 2-for-1 Gardens entry card & guide is available with the May 2025 issue of BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine, on-sale from 10th April and includes:
