ABCs 2024 - Immediate's market-leading brands grow digital circulation

Immediate, home to trusted brands that people love, posted a combined print and digital circulation of 855,826 for reporting titles January-December 2024.
- Immediate’s ABC audited digital circulation is 129,796, up 49.6% year-on-year.
Immediate’s ABC audited print circulation is 726,030, down -11% year-on-year, with 100% of its circulation actively purchased.
In 2024, Immediate’s digital subscriptions exceed the print base for the first time in its history. Immediate now has 1.2m subscribers (across all audited and unaudited brands), including almost 700,00o digital app subs, as it continues to accelerate it digital growth across web, apps, video and audio.
Immediate’s brands continue to be market-leaders in the majority of categories it operates in, including Food, Gardening, and History.

Immediate 2024 ABCs
BBC Gardeners’ World magazine
BBC Gardeners’ World magazine, the UK’s number one gardening magazine brand in the paid market, posted a combined circulation of 193,002, down -10.5% year-on-year, but with digital growth of 2.1% year-on-year. to average sales of 12,947.
BBC History Magazine
BBC History Magazine, the UK’s leading history title, posted a combined circulation of 114,967, up 51.3% year on year.
History’s digital circulation grew by 325% to 55,905 supported by the brand’s growth on Apple News.
Good Food magazine
Good Food is the UK’s biggest food media brand, posting a combined circulation of 133,900, down -11.4% year-on-year.
The Good Food app has over 180,000 paid subscribers and goodfood.com ended 2024 with over 1billion page views.
Olive
Olive posted a combined circulation of 34,479, up 5.7% year-on-year, including digital circulation of 19,104, up 37.6% year-on-year.
Overall, across Immediate’s Food portfolio, including Good Food Magazine, Good Food Home Cooking Series, Easy Cook and olive, digital circulation rose by 1.4% to 50,060.
Radio Times
Radio Times, the UK’s best-selling weekly quality magazine and the largest weekly subscription title posted a combined circulation of 341,242, down -10.4% year-on-year.
Radio Times Christmas double issue is the largest revenue-grossing single issue in the UK. The 2024 Christmas issue sold 892,000 newsstand copies (up 3.1% y-o-y) generating over £5.3M RSV (Retail Sales Value), with a total circulation of 1.2m, up 0.3% y-o-y.
In 2024, The Radio Times app was launched, extending the brand’s digital reach across web, video and podcasts.
