Sales Operations Manager - Maternity Cover (Up to £50,000)

About the role

As the Sales Operations Manager, you will be the business sponsor for IM’s instance of Salesforce (Connect) and how we use the platform to drive operational excellence across the advertising department. As business sponsor you will have overall responsibility for ensuring the system meets the needs of the business and ensuring commercial teams have the right tools and reporting in place to maximise the business benefits of the system.

As a Sales Operations Manager you will;

  • Execute the sales operations strategy for the year. 

- Goals focused on communication, training, process and engagement. 

- Scope out the strategy for 2026 and deliver recommendations. 

  • Drive the Salesforce implementation roadmap, aligning with department goals. 
  • Manage platform development, budgets, implementation, and user feedback. 
  • Optimise processes, drive training and adoption, and manage communication channels for systems. 
  • Deliver weekly system highlights spotlighting activity and new revenue. 
  • Improve insight by specifying requirements for sales reports and dashboards and collaborating with the data analysts to deliver these. 
  • Organise regular training sessions around Salesforce and CRM Analytics.  
  • Manage the group’s presence at industry events (i.e. SF World Tour). 
  • Drive the Connect Pathway and learning on the Ad Academy. 

- Strive to improve consistency of input from the sales teams and validity of data. 

- Participate in the People and Culture pillar as part of the Advertising OKRs. 

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform and a familiarity with data visualisation. Ability to upskill and guide team members in using these tools effectively.  
  • Good communication skills to interact with end-users, understand needs, and manage support. Strong presentation skills also helpful. 
  • Ability to foster a collaborative culture, engage with different teams, and provide guidance.   
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in evaluating and optimising processes across systems. 
  • Solid project management skills driving roadmaps, overseeing implementations, and leading cross-functional projects.  
  • Proactive attitude with an ability to drive change and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
